An orange study

I like orange.
I'm kicking myself for not getting the orange glass candlesticks I saw at the recycling centre yesterday.

I like orange, too. I had an orange coat when I was a child and even though I knew it wasn't "my color" it was my very favorite. I also love orange yarn. Great post!

Orange is a bouncy colour, as if all those molecules are bouncing off each other.

Like the change of template. White, less is more.

Hi Gilly

Love the orange theme. I've just dropped by to say that you have won the necklace set in my giveaway....sorry it's a dusky pink not orange ;0)

If you can e-mail me your address I will send it over to you. I hope you like it!

Kx

Mmmmm lovely dose of colour. It seems so very lacking at the moment. Even clothing is all drab blacks and browns. I think I'll have to plan a very colourful garden this year to make up for it.

Go back and get those candlesticks, especially if they were orange! I have a thing for orange too, how strange. It's such an unassuming colour, not as brash as red - much more mature, but speaks of warmth and plenty. Think I need more tea....

Orange... always reminds me of our first kitchen when I was a kid, Mum had gone mad and made curtains, tablecloths and covers for everything from tea cosy to chairs in orange gingham, then painted teapots, trivets and anything she could in orange and black. We lived in Invercargill then and really neeed the cheery outlook in the 335 days of winter! Have you checked out http://www.howaboutorange.blogspot.com/ ?? A wonderful dose of orange crafty musings.
